Biographical note: Metallurgist and mining company manager; Kunzell was general manager for Phelps Dodge Corp in Douglas, Arizona. He worked for Anaconda Copper Mining Co. before transferring to United Verde Copper Company in 1918. He moved to Douglas, Arizona and worked with Phelps Dodge from 1944 to 1968.
